Ty Dolla $ign Turns Up for “Blasé” Video with Rae Sremmurd

Riding around in style.

Ty Dolla $ign readies for his debut album Free TC with the release of his video for “Blasé”, a DJ Spinz-produced single featuring some of Atlanta’s most valuable players Rae Sremmurd & Future. Purposely set out to look like a pre-iPhone documentary, the direction is a low-fi picture that receives cameos from Tinashe and DeJ Loaf. Unfortunately, Future is not in the video but the intense live performance and party scenes compensate for the absence. Can we look forward to a remix with Thugger?

Free TC will be available on November 13. Get a head start, preorder it on iTunes.

Kanye West Debuted a New Song at His Yeezy Season 2 Fashion Show

When Kanye West debuted his first ever Addias collection, Yeezy Season 1, back in February, the buzz surrounded not only his new threads and sneakers, but new music, which, at the time, was thought to be imminent. ‘Ye added fuel to that fire by premiering “Wolves,” his collaboration with Vic Mensa and SIA, in New York City at the fashion show, which was attended by expected A-listers Anna Wintour, Jay Z, Diddy and more. Kanye would then perform the song on Saturday Night Live shortly after.

Today, Yeezy is back in New York City debuting the second installment of Yeezy Season, Yeezy Season 2, and he has once again premiered new music, this time featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone, per Malone himself, who is in attendance at the YS2 show.

You can hear a preview of the song above, but don’t get your hopes up for an official release of the record. “Wolves” has yet to see the light of day, and despite the fact that Kanye’s been teasing his new album since May 2014, outside of a name change, no news on it has surfaced.

Big Sean Channels ‘Martin’ in New “Play No Games Video” f/ Chris Brown & Ty Dolla $ign

Big Sean’s video streak is way up

Last night was a big one for Big Sean, who performed two of his Dark Sky Paradise standouts at the BET Awards, “One Man Can Change The World,” “Blessings,” and the biggest hit of his career alongside E-40, “IDFWU.” Following the show, Sean released his 4th video of the past 10 days, “Play No Games,” and it may be a candidate for the year’s best. With Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign (and French Montana) tagging along, the potent romance anthem’s visual is based off Martin Lawrence‘s timeless sitcom, Martin, making for an extremely unique viewing experience.

Go Big Sean. Watch the video above.

Listen to Ty Dolla $ign’s New Single, “Blase,” Featuring Future & Rae Sremmurd

Ty$ is pushing through the summer with another banger off Free TC

September 4th is the date for Ty Dolla $ign‘s debut album, Free TC, and we’ve been treated to both the conscious (“Stand For”) and the pop/dance (“Drop That Kitty”) side of the Los Angeles singer and songwriter on the LP’s first two official singles. Today, Dolla $ign dips into his Trap Ty persona and drops a record featuring Future and Rae Sremmurd. The song, “Blase,” which features Future on the hook, is very much a rap banger, but Ty$ is still just as comfortable.

Started from the ground
I’m that n****a now
I stay with the loud
Can you hear me nowww

Listen To Trey Songz & Ty Dolla $ign’s New Collab ‘Loving You’

Trey Songz has been a fixture on mainstream radio since last fall with his singles “Touching, Lovin”, featuring Nicki Minaj, as well as the recent banger “Slow Motion”. Tomorrow, he unveils what would be the deluxe version of his recent album Trigga, with Trigga: Reloaded. Accompanied with new songs, the project will surely further raise the Virginia singer’s stock on the charts. Today, he reconnects with friend and frequent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign for “Loving You”. The song might just be another radio hit for Songz as it not only has a melodic groove, but the chorus lifts its interpolation from the classic tune Seasons Of Love. Check it out below.
