Shoot your shot kid.

Ezekiel Elliot is showing that closes mouth don’t get feed. Taylor Swift is in Columbus, Ohio, this Thursday and Friday for concerts at Nationwide Arena. The star running back, knowing she would be in his town, decided to ask out the pop superstar via twitter.

Elliot even gave Swift the place he had in mind.

The pop star hasn’t respond…….yet. The reigning National Champion Buckeyes will take on the Northern Iowa Huskers this Saturday. Assume that Swift has an open invitation to the game.

Taylor Swift Was Accompanied by Wiz Khalifa at Houston Show

#TaylorGang was in the building..

Taylor Swift is midway through her 1989 tour and she has brought along some friends with her at some of her stops.

Last month she brought out Fetty Wap, Ciara, and Russell Wilson. At her Houston stop two days ago, she surprised her fans by bringing out Wiz Khalifa for an emotional “See You Again” performance. T. Swift must really like the song because this isn’t the first time she brought Wiz out to perform “See You Again”.

Wiz sung his original verses and Taylor sung Charlie Puth’s vocals. Check out some footage from the performance below:

And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again…

VMA’s Breaks Nielsen Twitter Record

Well if MTV picked Miley Cyrus to host the VMAs for ratings, they got exactly what they wanted. According to the LA Times, the awards show, hosted by oft-controversial pop star Cyrus, was the most tweeted about non-sports program in Nielsen social history (which is to say, since October 2011).

This really shouldn’t come as a surprise, especially considering the events that took place, including the real/fake beef between Cyrus and superstar Nicki Minaj, the 12-minute acceptance/presidential speech given by Kanye West, and of course Taylor Swift was there.

In the United States alone, 21.4 million tweets were sent about the ceremony by 2.2 million individuals. In turn, 11.8 million people received those tweets, which resulted in the VMA tweets themselves potentially being seen 676 million times. This is a significant increase over last year’s social media effect, when just 12.6 million tweets were sent.

All this means is that Kanye might just get the votes for his presidential nomination.

Miley Cyrus Doesn’t Think Kendrick Lamar or Taylor Swift Are Better Role Models Than Her

Because you needed a pep talk on role models today from Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has, for better or for worst, become a star over the past 3 years. Behind her already astronomical visibility, the girl who became a star on Hannah Montana–Disney, not Migos–got with hit Hip-Hop producer Mike Will Made It, and dropped a debut album that sold fairly well, and produced two monster hits.

However, those aren’t the only things that made her a pop icon. Cyrus’ tendency to wear as little clothing as possible as often as possible, and her affinity for doing the unthinkable on large stages–she gave a sex doll a blowjob on stage once, and then there was that Robin Thicke thing–made Miley the topic of conversation whenever she went outside.

This time, Miley has chosen two of music’s most beloved stars, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift, as the target of a brief rant, taken from her Marie Claire cover story. According to Cyrus, it’s unfair that she gets looked down upon for her rampant nudity when Kendrick Lamar “raps about LSD” and Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video was about “violent revenge.”

On Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video: “I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”

On sexism and her sexuality: “There is so much sexism, ageism, you name it.  Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he’s cool. I do it and I’m a druggie whore.”

Of all the rappers to attack about drug use, Miley chose Kendrick Lamar, who recently made an entire music video staging a funeral for the popular MDMA drug “Molly.” Well done, Hannah.

Katy Perry Weighs In On Minaj-Swift Twitter Beef

Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift exchanged tweets about the recent VMA nominations.

Nicki ripped MTV up and called them out for being racist after “Anaconda” wasn’t nominated for Best Video of the Year despite the video’s pop cultural influence. Swift took Nicki’s comments personally and told the female emcee:

I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

Obviously Swift missed Nicki’s point but Katy Perry certainly picked it up:

Sidebar: Nicki also favorited this tweet. Sips tea.

The irony in Swift’s stance is her recent No. 1 song “Bad Blood” is admittedly about feuding with another female pop star which we presume to be the “Dark Horse” singer Katy Perry.  So it’s no surprise that Perry had lots of shade to throw towards Swift’s way.

Perry’s opinion didn’t stop there:

And if you ask me, the BBHMM video deserves to be nominated even though it dropped on 7/1 at midnight. It was just that good.

Swift hasn’t mad another comment, meanwhile Nicki retweeted a bunch of arguments to back up her point. Sips tea.

Nicki Minaj Rips MTV for VMA Nominations, Taylor Swift Misses Her Mark

Taylor Swift takes an interesting angle in Nicki Minaj’s riff with MTV Earlier today, Nicki Minaj voiced her displeasure with her extremely popular, record-breaking video, “Anaconda,” not being recognized in certain nomination categories, like “Video of the Year” and “Best Choreography.” Minaj mentioned that had the video been made by “other” girls, it likely wouldn’t have been omitted. Shortly after her brief rant, Taylor Swift jumped in, apparently taking issue with Minaj’s comments.

That last tweet seemed to be a tad bit shady, and Minaj thought so as well. She responded with the following.

Then, Minaj went on to RT this tweet, which then helped it get shared by nearly 14,000 people, that seemed to illustrate her point perfectly.

The back-and-forth doesn’t say “beef,” but rather Swift completely missing the point Minaj is attempting to make. Whether or not you believe Nicki has a point in her original argument, it has nothing to do with pitting females together. As her Twitter follower pointed out, the narrative was initially centered around racial bias, and not gender prejudice.

Heckler Gives Kanye West A Taste Of His Own Medicine At Glastonbury

Many music fans were adamant that rap superstar Kanye West not be allowed to headline Glastonbury

More than 15,000 people signed a petition to have Kanye West‘s set axed as the headliner for Glastonbury Festival. The anti-Kanye petition proved futile and British funny man Lee Nelson took justice into his own hands by interrupting The Grammy winner’s performance of “Black Skinhead”.

Armed with a “Lee-Zus” emblazoned t-shirt and a working microphone, Nelson bopped his way across the stage. His stage rushing moment only lasted a few seconds before West’s security pulled Nelson, real name Simon Brodkin, off the stage.

The British comic claimed to have “Kanye’d Kanye” when owning up to the stunt, which calls to mind the countless instances Kanye has bumrushed other celebrities’ on stage, most memorably Taylor Swift.

Nelson posted on Twitter,

Some people were saying Kanye shouldn’t headline Glastonbury so I decided to give him a hand. I Kanye’d Kanye. That was for you @taylorswift13.”

This isn’t the first time Lee Nelson has pulled mess like this. He also photo bombed England’s soccer team right before their World Cup appearance last year.

Kendrick Lamar Notches First Ever #1 Thanks to Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”

Kendrick Lamar is on top once again

2015 has proven to be a year of first’s for Kendrick Lamar, and the good times for the Compton emcee just keep on rolling. At this year’s Grammy Awards, Kendrick snagged his first two Grammy Awards for his hit single “i,” after infamously going 0-for-7 at the 2014 show. The very next month, his sophomore album, To Pimp A Butterfly, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of over 320,000–Kendrick’s first chart-topper. His debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, went platinum but bowed at the #2 spot to, ironically enough, Taylor Swift‘s Red in 2012.

Today, Kendrick’s hit another milestone: #1 hit. Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video–which features two verses from Kendrick, and cameos from Grey’s Anatomy‘s Ellen Pompeo, Law and Order: SVU‘s Mariska Hargitay, Zoe Kravitz, Selena Gomez and more–became an international sensation when it debuted at last Sunday’s Billboard Awards, and now it’s the biggest song in the country. “Bad Blood,” pushed Wiz Khalifa‘s nostalgic “See You Again,” out of the top spot, and subsequently, Fetty Wap‘s break out hit “Trap Queen” falls to #3.

Congrats to Taylor Swift as well, who has notched her 4th #1 single with “Bad Blood.”
