Ludacris Reveals His Role In Season 2 of ‘Empire’

Just when you thought the guest list couldn’t get better..

On Wednesday, a 30 second, dialogue-less teaser for season 2 of Empire was dropped. From the looks of it, Anika and Cookie let bygones be bygones, Jamal’s musical career is taking off, and Cookie visited Lucious while he’s in prison for murder.

Ludacris uploaded a picture on Instagram yesterday and it looks like he’s a correctional officer in the prison that Lucious is held in. Common, Tyrese, and Kelly Rowland are a few of the guests already mentioned to appear on season 2.

Ludacris is no stranger to the acting world. He has co-starred in Crash and the Fast and Furious series.

Empire is scheduled to premiere September 23rd on FOX.

Premiere of ‘Empire’ Season 2 Revealed

Empire lovers, hold on a bit longer because the wait is almost over.

Drama, Hip Hop, and Females – Season 2 is more messy than the first!

Oxygen’s docu-series Sisterhood of Hip Hop returns with the original cast Bia, Brianna Perry, Diamond, Nyemiah Supreme and Siya. The five female emcees continue to work towards claiming their spots in todays Rap game but experience some bumps in the road along the way. This season, the girls works with some of the industry’s top professionals with appearances from T.I, T-Pain, Tank, Irv Gotti, Adrienne Bailon, Da Brat, Travie McCoy and Funkmaster Flex. Aside from the music, with a room full of females there’s bound to be some drinks flying and some good clean drama. The new season airs June 9th watch the full trailer above!

Starz Announces Original Series ‘Power’ Premiere Date

The wait is officially over!

Today the Starz network announced that the hit show Power will be returning on Saturday, June 6th. The retaliation, the drugs, and the betrayal has all been kicked up a notch for a new drama filled season.  Season two picks up right where it left off: James “Ghost” St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save his nightclub and dream of a legitimate future. Ghost’s work troubles pale in comparison to juggling his relationship with his wife, Tasha, and his first love, Angela, who’s also an Assistant US Attorney investigating his drug organization.

The season includes ten hour-long episodes with stars Omari Hardwick as “Ghost”, Lela Loren as Angela, Naturi Naughton as Tasha, and Jospeh Sikora as Tommy. The Executive Producer, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will have more screen time this season, as his character Kanan is fresh out of jail and looking for revenge.

The original drama series was well received by critics and fans on the last season, and the undeniable script will have you pierced to the TV screen and sitting at the edge of your seats this time around.
