Every day, there’s a new development in the Are Travi$ Scott and Rihanna Dating? story, and Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard of ESPN’s Highly Questionable made sure that trend continued.
Travi$ Scott, who has been consistently promoting Rodeo, his debut album, for the better part of the past two weeks, sat down with Bomani and Dan, the notorious hosts of ESPN’s quick-strike talk show, Highly Questionable. During this episode, the trio chatted about quite a few things…just kidding. They talked about Rihanna. and Kanye West. But mainly Rihanna.
In just over 6 minutes, Travi$ ducked about 3 barebones questions about his rumored girlfriend, Rihanna, and eventually gave into providing some concrete information, telling the brief story about how he and the “BBHMM” singer met.
The last week has been a crazy one for Travi$ Scott, and his enigmatic relationship with Rihanna has apparently bubbled over to his stage antics.
The Houston rapper released Rodeo, his debut studio album, on September 4, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 with approximate sales of 85,000 first-week copies, not bad for someone who just put out his first mixtape 2 years ago.
Outside of the charts, Scott’s name has remained in headlines, thanks in large part to his relationship with Rih. The relationship, which many assumed to be plutonic, has apparently evolved, especially considering the intimate moments they shared at Rihanna’s #NYFW Puma reveal, which included what’s being described by TMZ as a “make-out sesh,” and some suggestive dancing.
To add fuel to the la flame, during Scott’s Rodeo release show in Santa Ana, CA last night, he switched up the lyrics to his debut album’s lead single, “3500,” to stir up the narrative. Rather than rap the song’s original lyrics…
One time for the trill b*tches that’ll let me touch it
…Scott went with something a little more provocative:
One time for the RiRi that’ll let me touch it
Meanwhile, folks aren’t really buying Rihanna’s half-hearted attempt at shooting down the rumors. Watch the video clip of the lyric switch-up here.
Much has been said about Rihanna and Travi$ Scott‘s apparent relationship, which appeared to be plutonic initially, but has since been upgraded by social media to be somewhat of a “fling,” thanks to this video of them getting cozy at Rihanna’s PUMA party in New York City during #NYFW on Thursday.
Despite what may be a feeble Rihanna attempt at downplaying the rumors, the two friends–we’ll go with that for now–appeared in one of Rihanna’s latest PUMA ads, which couldn’t be released at a more intriguing time.
More importantly, you can pre-order Rih Rih’s new collection beginning today, so head on over to PUMA and see if you come across something you like.
Travi$ Scott has been in NYC for the past week for his 3-day, sold out Rodeo release shows. He brought along some special guests including Skepta, A$AP Ferg and Quavo. Rihanna was also spotted at his shows. Not to perform, for some friendly support I suppose. They were also spotted together at a party during NYFW boo’ed up in the corner. Check out the video:

Frank Ocean has been disappointing his fans lately. First, his highly anticipated album that was supposed to drop last month never saw the light of day. Now, he bailed on his performance at the FYF Fest. Fans were pretty upset but were compensated with a performance from Kanye West instead.
Kanye brought out the pop phenomenon and fashion icon Rihanna to help him sing “All of the Lights” and “Four Five Seconds”. Travi$ Scott also made a surprise appearance and performed “Antidote” and “Upper Echelon”.
The time has come and we are starting to see more ad campaigns with Rihanna behind it. As some may or may not know, she has collaborated with PUMA as the global brand ambassador and women’s creative director. Yes, the Bajan beauty will be bringing her sassy creativity to the brand, designing her own collection as well as overseeing others. Already you can see on Instagram that she has personally started her marketing which is expected for Fall 2015.
Also let’s not forget to leave out downtown’s sweetheart Va$htie. This is the second time around that PUMA reaches out for some of her fashion input and I must say I love it. I went through the collection available on the site now and couldn’t just pick one because the items were too cute. It gets even better with the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. You go girl! That blue versatile jacket is fire. Definitely copping that. Check it out!
What’s done in the dark, always comes to the light in due time..
According to the Baltimore Sun, e-mails dated back to May has surfaced, showing that Rihanna wanted to put together a free concert as well as walk with protestors a week after rioting broke out after the fatal police shooting of young, unarmed black man Freddie Gray. The message was sent to Capt. Eric Kowalczyk and the police commissioner. Anthony Batts and Kevin Harris, a spokesman for the mayor were carbon copied into the message also, yet, the concert never went on.
At the end of the day, Prince organized a benefit concert with help from TIDAL, raising about $35,000. It would’ve been nice to see a modern artist with such a huge pop cultural influence like Rihanna to be actively apart of the movement, instead of just hash tagging on social media and donating money.
This information was revealed due to a conversation between the head of media relations for Baltimore police and a representative from Rihanna’s camp who denies to make any comments.
Stance is the official sock provider of the NBA and has named Rihanna the contributing creative director.
Rihanna expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration by telling WWD,“I’ve had a great relationship with Stance for a long time and I am happy to be working with them on such a fun and creative project”.
She has a three year deal with the sock brand and she will be starring in campaigns and design collections for the brand name.
There are 1,500 crew socks for men and women, all numbered, and will be available along with an over-the-knee style printed with vintage newspaper ads. Only 1,000 pairs will be up for purchase.
The first full collection will drop in Fall, but two Rihanna-designed pairs will be dropped today. Get a look at one pair below:
