On Sunday afternoon during one of the biggest moments in music this year, Drake shared a snippet of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s take on Blasé, a song by Ty Dolla $ign featuring Rae Sremmurd and Future. The Mississauga singer’s version was aired live on OVO Sound Radio during the live stream of What a Time To Be Alive. Stream PND’s version below:
During their Saturday time slot on Beats1 Radio, OVO Sound co-founder Oliver El-Khatib decided to unveil a previously unreleased record from PARTYNEXTDOOR and artist/producer Amir Obe. Obe is a Detroit based producer who famously produced “Star67” on Drake’s “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” album. Peep the tune below.
Drake’s OVO collective has taken July by storm, releasing new music, mixes, videos, and appearing on Beats Radio 1 twice. Majid Jordan, iLOVEMAKONNEN and Drake have all released new music over the last couple of weeks, and today, PARTYNEXTDOOR joins the party.
His long rumored romance with newly signed Oakland crooner Kehlani is confirmed on this new record, even if the song’s nature is that of a break-up.
We act like we don’t know, no, no, no, no
No ifs, no ands, no buts, no whatsoever
We can’t say we never knew better
No, no, no, no, no
But I have to act like I don’t know, like it’s whatever
But I can’t promise I’ll do better
Listen to Party’s new cut below. And, it’s time to get excited about a new album from the Sauga city rep.

According to one report, PND had a close call Friday night
PARTYNEXTDOOR is one of the most coveted R&B artists in the world right now, and tickets for his current, extended leg of the PARTYNEXTDOOR LIVE Tour are selling like hot cakes. According to this VladTV report, PND’s psychedelic vocals aren’t the only thing popping in the streets.
A witness, whose identity has been concealed by request, sat down with DJ Vlad today and reported that PND’s tour bus and a car that was trailing it were “let loose” on by random gunmen Friday night following a PARTYNEXTDOOR LIVE show at Center Stage. The witness specifically uses the term “torn up” to describe the encounter, and goes into detail, mentioning at one point that a gunmen hopped out of a vehicle, shot at both the bus and the car trailing the bus, then got away in the same vehicle.
When we reached out to a police precinct in Zone 5 of Atlanta where Center Stage, the venue PND played Friday night, is located, they claimed to have no knowledge of any incident involving the venue, PARTYNEXTDOOR, or a nearby shooting, but directed us to their Public Affairs wing for a better assessment. Our calls to Public Affairs were not returned.
The OVO Sound singer/producer has yet to comment, and hasn’t tweeted in about 48 hours. No one else from the OVO camp has spoken on the alleged incident. Listen to the audio of the brief interview below.
2015 is off to a great start for La Flame
For the first half of last year, Travi$ Scott seemed to be fading a bit into the background. His mixtape, Owl Pharaoh, failed to spawn even a mild hit, and despite his dominant performance on G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer album and crafting probably the best song on Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail album, the engine of his own solo career appeared to be sputtering.
Then, randomly, in August, Kanye West tweeted the link to Days Before Rodeo, Scott’s second official release, and 2014’s best mixtape (though it plays like a free album). Since then, La Flame has caught fire–pun intended–and he’s pushing full steam ahead to his proper debut album, Rodeo, which will be released on Epic Records this year. In preparation, Scott has announced The Rodeo Tour, on which he’ll be joined by two of his best co-conspirators–Young Thug, Metro Boomin–for a nationwide parade beginning in March. In addition to that, he’s released two new songs. “Nothing But Net” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR & Young Thug and “High Fashion” featuring Future. No word yet as to whether or not either of these songs will appear on Rodeo–probably not–but you can listen to them below, then check out the official Rodeo Tour announcement.

Fresh off the biggest hit of his career, Big Sean will soon deliver his 3rd LP
Last night, in a clever social media maneuver, Big Sean discreetly announced the title of his new album, Dark Sky Paradise, along with some of the album’s marquee features and producers. After Sean tweeted, “done,” earlier in the day, he uploaded a cryptic image resembling a thunderstorm with the words “Dark Sky Paradise” emblazoned across it.

This upload was followed by similar uploads from Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Travi$ Scott, E-40 and some producers, including DJ Dahi, DJ Mustard and Vinylz. Why? Presumably because they’ll all be a part of the album, of which there are very few details. On Big Sean’s Snapchat (bigseansnapped), you can see a preview of a song that sounds like it’ll feature Drake, and a rough video clip from Big Sean’s DJ surfaced over the weekend of a live preview of the same track. Considering how long “IDFWU” has been out, and how silent Sean’s been since he randomly dropped those 4 songs to Snapchat, DSP might be a lot closer than many imagine.
For the holiday season Toronto’s very own PARTYNEXTDOOR unleashes the four-tracks long PNDCOLOURS EP. The surprise package consists of four highly smooth numbers labelled “Let’s Get Married,” “Girl From Oakland,” “Jus Know” featuring Travi$ Scott, and “Don’t Worry” with Ca$h Out.
Along with brand new music, the R&B sensation also announced his “PNDLIVE” World Tour which includes Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, New York, and Detroit, as well as expected overseas shows in cities like London, Paris, Berlin and more. The tour will kick off on January 29 and end April 5. Stream all of the songs below and check out the tour dates.
