The Golden State Warriors Have Come Out To Play

Stephen Curry will be presented with his MVP in front of his home fans tonight at Oracle arena as the Golden State Warriors play game 2 of the Western Conference Semi-finals against the Memphis Grizzles. The blessings just seem to keep rolling as the Warriors seem to be team to beat in the playoffs. Coming off a 67-win season the Warriors have dominated the postseason so far, being one of two teams to be undefeated in the playoffs (Washington Wizards). They clinched the #1 seed throughout the NBA playoffs, their General Manager Bob Myers won Executive of the Year, and coach Steve Kerr along with forward Draymond Green finished 2nd respectively in Coach of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Everything is pointing towards the Warriors hosting up the Larry O’Brien trophy at the end of the season. If Curry can end the season with the NBA title, he has a chance be only  the 3rd player in the last 20 years to win both the regular season and finals MVP (Jordan, James).

Will the Real NBA MVP, Please Stand Up?

As the 2014-15 NBA regular season comes to an end, there’s still one lingering question, who is going to be this years Most Valuable Player? In previous NBA MVP races, there have been two likely winners, in other years there’s often one unanimous winner. This MVP race, however, is much too close to call. This year’s candidates for the NBA’s most prestigious individual award are Stephen Curry, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Lebron James, and Anthony Davis, and you can make a valid argument for each player, as to why they should be named this year’s MVP.

Should it be Stephen Curry, since his Golden State Warriors have the best record in the league, or should it be James Harden for carrying his Rockets without Dwight Howard? LeBron left South Beach for a second stint with Cleveland, and his Cavaliers sit comfortably as the Eastern Conference’s #2 seed, hoping to make a championship run in the playoffs, while the Heat–just one year removed from an NBA Finals appearance–need a miracle just to play postseason basketball this time around. Davis and Westbrook are the two fringe candidates, and one of their hopes will coming crashing down within a week, considering only one of their teams will sneak into the Western Conference playoffs as the #8 seed. Though they’ve both enjoyed ridiculous years statistically, whoever’s team is left out of the playoffs will have to watch their name will be pulled from MVP consideration, as there has never been an MVP whose team did not make the playoffs.

We’ve built a case for why each player has a real case to win this year’s 2014-15 NBA MVP award. Let us know if you agree or disagree.

Closer Images of The Air Jordan 6 Kawhi Leonard “Ring Ceremony” PE

Check out these wicked Air Jordan 6’s

Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard made a name for himself in last year’s NBA Finals where he was the Finals MVP. He announced later on in November that he would be joining Team Jordan. He gives us a taste of his very first shoe which features his own emblem that will be stamped on every shoe he wears. It’s a claw-like image that also includes his very own initials. He wasn’t active for the season opener against the Mavericks, but did attend the award ceremony with his Spurs family.Jordan Brand just recently released up close images of the Air Jordan XX9 with Leonard’s signature logo on the insole. The shoe has not yet been given a release date or nod on if they will even be available to the public but believe if we got more information we will let you all know.
