Musician John Legend and gorgeous wife Chrissy Teigen are expecting their first child. Chrissy announced the big news on Instagram Monday with the caption:
John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant 🙂 As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx
The “Ordinary People” singer expressed his excitement for him and his wife via Twitter – “We’re pregnant!”
Teigen, 29 mentioned her struggle of conceiving in a very emotional interview on her new daytime talk show FABLife –
“John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened,” she said. “But my gosh, it’s been a process.”
She explained how that question has affected her throughout the course of her marriage and Tyra Banks broke down discussing her issues with fertility as well. Take a peak from the segment –
It’s a blessing to see the couple has overcame an ongoing battle and we wish you the best of luck. Congratulations John and Chrissy!
This is pretty simple. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the best. They sometimes spend all day in bed, the dishes Teigen whips up for early lunches look like the handiwork of a Benihana chef, and she happens to be one of the funnier celebrities you’ll come across.
Here’s another example. What sounds better than chicken wings poolside? Hot wings balanced on Teigen’s ass while you reach for them from the pool. Yes, John Legend. You’re living the dream.
Big Sean’s heartfelt Dark Sky Paradise collab with Kanye West and John Legend, “One Man Can Change The World,” has received an official visual treatment. With the brutal racial-fueled murders at the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, it’s release couldn’t have been more timely. Directed by Andrew Hines, the black-and-white piece fits perfectly with the inspirational Dark Sky Paradise standout. The video is an ode to Big Sean’s late grandmother who passed away back in December. With regards to the release of the video, Big Sean took to Twitter to say “never had a song like this be a single, it’s different then what’s on radio, but I feel it’s needed with all the craziness goin on right now…” Watch the heartfelt video above.

How soon some forget that as much as Kanye West has been on his grind as a producer from the late ’90s to early ’00s mirrors his vocal journey as a rapper and even his venture into the world of fashion. One thing that has always undeniably remained consistent is his work — whether it be his work in production, emceeing, or designing — is his passion. The same could be said for John Legend (seemingly right after he was given the name “Legend” from J. Ivy), who’s also featured in the 2002 video from the 2nd Annual Dynamic Producer Conference in New York City.
The two are performing “18 Years,” a demo of what would become “Gold Digger” from Yeezy’s sophomore album, Late Registration. Just in case you were unaware, “Gold Digger” was 2005’s second-longest running number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Grammy winner for Best Solo Performance (2006), listed at number 49 on Billboard magazine’s All Time Top 100 and at 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade.
Nonetheless, the duo put on a remarkable performance of the track — with John Legend on sound (the piano) and Kanye West on the mic. Surely the crowd could feel the potential of the performers. That, or they could relate to having illegitimate illegitimate children and finding out “18 years” later. Either way, enjoy the show.
