Hard to believe we are closing in on a mere weeks left of the Summer of 2015. With September 4th right around the corner, Atlanta rapper K Camp is set to release his new album ‘The Only Way Is Up‘ via Interscope Records. Among previously released records, like lead single ‘Till I Die’ featuring T.I., the North Atlanta based emcee finds himself at the pinnacle of what has been campaign. Today, he reveals ‘Change‘ featuring Jeremih as the second official leak from the album. Check it out below and cop his album in stores September 4th.
Over the weekend, celebrities flocked to Las Vegas to either attend the huge Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight, or partake in the massive amount of parties happening over the weekend. That flock of celebrities included Chris Brown and Jeremih, who met up for a quick pick-up basketball game last night.
It didn’t end in high-fives.
According to a TMZ report, Chris Brown is now a potential battery suspect after the pick-up game ended in a brawl that reportedly stemmed from an argument between Brown and Jeremih. Allegedly, Brown punched another man during the fight, and he has to either face the forthcoming charge in court, or attempt to settle it with the District Attorney. Either way, it’s more legal troubles for Brown, who spent the early part of this year publicly celebrating the fact that he has put his legal drama behind him.
Above is a video clip of Chris Brown taking it to the rack against Jeremih in said pick-up game, in (allegedly) happier times.

Jeremih’s “Don’t Tell ‘Em” doesn’t arrive without incident
Despite all the great things that have happened for Jeremih this year–“Don’t Tell ‘Em” peaking as the #6 song on Billboard, a joint tour with French Montana–he’s still not quite where he needs to be musically, thanks in large part to his contentious relationship with Def Jam. They previously announced a November 2014 release date for Jeremih’s third LP, Late Nights: The Album, but nothing materialized. The Chicago crooner credited his on-and-off manner of releasing music and videos to a bout with timidity, and he finally released a video for “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” this week.
Still, though his bout with himself appears to has subsided, his battles with Def Jam continue, exemplified by the awkward release of his new single, “Planes.” The song was released earlier this morning, but quickly snatched off the internet–Jeremih says that version was “unfinished”–and the version he’s approved is now out for your listening pleasure. If this song sounds strangely familiar, that’s because it is. In the past, it’s featured Chance The Rapper, and Jeremih has teased the record before. Today, we get it in it’s final form.
7 months later, we (sort of) have a visual
Jeremih has been teasing his Late Nights LP for the better part of 2 years now–he steamrolled through his November 2014 release date without so much as a formal pushback announcement–but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that in the meantime, he’s done some great things. Between his work with Shlomo and more recently, DJ Khaled and Nicki Minaj, the Chicago crooner has managed to remain one of R&B’s best kept secrets. His live performance is no joke, either.
A couple months ago, Jeremih admitted that his disappearance from the public eye wasn’t a figment of our imagination. In a chat with Billboard, he explained why his smash hit, “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” was the only song to chart in Billboard’s Top 40 for the entire year of 2014 that didn’t have a music video, and how his celebrity toyed with his personality and tendencies. That being said, at the conclusion of the interview, he admitted that he’d pretty much worked through it, and was ready to embrace his potential superstardom. So, above, you can check out the video for the remix to “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” which features Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana, which was released in September.
All good Jeremih, baby steps.
