Rocky Business Ft. Action Bronson – The Cattle List

Rocky Business recruits Action Bronson for their track “The Cattle List.”

What sounds like a repetitive Beavis and Butt Head laugh morphs into a crescendo that smoothly leads into the rap duo Rocky Business and Action Bronson lyrically doing the beat justice.

Lil Kim “Shuts Down” Rosenberg After Nicki Minaj Question

Lil Kim calls Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg to promote her new artist, Tiffany Fox.

It was all smiles and laughs in the beginning between Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg and female rapper Tiffany Fox, that is until Lil Kim called in after a long night at the studio to answer some questions.

Rosenberg fairly warned her “Now Kim, you know I would never give you a hard time,” following up with his second question (around 2:16) regarding Lil Kim’s status with Nicki Minaj, which Queen B didn’t take kindly to.

“Let me tell you something. I’m about to shut you down right now,” Kim stated.

The immediate response from Rosenberg was, “Oh God.”

Although Kim was very serious in her tone when she stated that bringing up other people’s ‘drama’ or ‘situations’ takes the light away from female artists and takes away their “nice shot.”

There were no hard feelings after as Rosenberg got another quick question in before Lil Kim had to hang up and turn the tables to the St. Louis native Tiffany Foxx who ended the session talking on her track “Twisted,” Miley Cyrus and a dope, but graphic, freestyle.

Check it all out below.

Kendrick Lamar Thinks Kanye Should’ve Been Higher On Hottest MCs List

Kendrick Lamar Thinks Kanye Should’ve Been Higher On Hottest MCs List

All week MTV has begun heated debates all around the industry about their annual “Hottest MCs” list, which includes Kanye West at number 7, and more recently, Drake, Nas and Rick Ross at numbers 5, 4 and 3 respectively. Left coast emcee Kendrick Lamar will undoubtedly (and by undoubtedly we mean only by some miraculous failure of numerous brain functions on MTV’s part, Kendrick doesn’t make this list) take one of the top two spots, the other going to 2 Chainz (also another relatively solid assumption). Before numbers 1 and 2 are announced later on today, Kendrick had the chance to chop it up with Rap-Up while shooting a video for T.I.’s “Memories Back Then”, which also features his label mate B.o.B.

During his interview, Kendrick agrees Kanye should’ve been higher on the list, but later admitted he’s not exactly sure what the criteria is. We all know what Kanye himself thinks, what do you think? Is Kanye too low, or too high for that matter? And who do you think will take the top spot, Kendrick Lamar or 2 Chainz? Let us know.

Chris Brown Blows Up On Valet Service Over Charge

10 dollars ain’t nothing to Breezy or is it…

Chris Brown flipped on a valet company following an exit from a bowling alley in Los Angeles. The issue? A 10 dollar charge that was billed for the service at PINZ bowling alley. The event was for charity and following Brown’s exit, he was billed a whopping $10. Chris Brown responded “F*ck ten dollars,” while surrounded by his entourage. Maybe since he was only at the event for 30 minutes, he felt slighted by valet for his brief appearance.

A member of Chris’ entourage was quoted as saying, “We got the money … don’t worry about it.” Brown eventually would be given his keys and drove off… did he ever pay the 10 dollars?

Tune in next time…

Video: Yelawolf – F.A.S.T. Ride

Approaching the March 14th release of Trunk Muzik Returns, Catfish Bily aka Yealwolf serves his ‘Bama flow from the comfort of couch in the new visual, “F.A.S.T. Ride”. The Slumerican rapper is about the only stationary figure in this video for the pumped-up tune which sees an arsenal of dancers (not the halftime at an NBA game type) jumping in front of the camera to bust-a-move. Yela reps for his country kinfolk with his pantented brand of accelerated rebellion rap which gets off to a bit of an elementary start but gets sharper as the track unravels.

Peep the dance-inducing video above and download Trap Muzik Returns when it drops March 14th.
