Hard to imagine, but Carolina’s franchise quarterback Cam Newton was involved in a training camp fight.
Yes, the quarterback that was just given a $100 million contract in the off-season. The same guy that, if hurt, will make the Carolina Panthers the defunct possessors of the #1 pick in next year’s draft. Granted, camp fights are common. It’s hot out there and tempers are bound to flare, but there really hasn’t been a situation between a quarterback and another player on the team. This fight appeared to stem from Newton’s throwing of a pick to Panthers defensive back Josh Norman.
Cam Newton and Josh Norman have been building to an encounter. Newton referred to Norman as “piss ant” during scuffle. #Panthers
In promotion for his bout with Andre Berto coming in September, Floyd Mayweather made a stop on SportsNation, but in a different language.
Mayweather recently appeared on ESPN Deportes’ Nacion ESPN, conveniently allowing him to skip an encounter with known Mayweather detractor Michelle Beadle, who appears on the English-speaking version of Sportsnation. Mayweather revealed his all-time boxer rankings while on the show, and instead of starting from No. 5 and working his way up, he began at the top of the list.
It’s not surprising that Mayweather would put himself as the greatest of all-time, but where he ranked Ali was a bit surprising. He placed the former heavy-weight champion of the world 5th on the list.
Floyd is really doing his job by bringing attention to himself, good or bad. Watch the clip above.

An argument between two women in the parking lot of Green Acres Mall in Long Island went from 0-100, real quick.
A video posted to Facebook, and shared by the Nassau County Police Department, shows a woman being thrown to the ground, and jumped on by another woman.
In the video, it shows a woman literally sitting on top of the 49-year old victim, who was getting hit in the face as she laid on the floor. All over a parking space. The victim tried to park in the parking spot in the mall, but saw a man standing in the parking spot. He was apparently holding the parking spot for someone else.
Police say the victim parked into another parking spot but then got into a verbal argument with the other driver about the original spot. She then tried to walk toward the mall when the other women dragged the victim onto the ground and persistently punched the lady in the face.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene, and other people can be seen in the video merely bystanding, not offering any help towards breaking up the altercation.
Police are now looking for those involved in the attack.
