Kendrick Lamar: “I Have Nothing Against Drake, He Put Out A Great Album. Again.”

No bad blood between the Club Paradise Tour members.

Less than 2 years after embarking on The Club Paradise Tour together, Kendrick Lamar and Drake were–reluctantly–at each other’s jugular in the aftermath of Kendrick’s “Control” verse. While Kendrick took the offensive, calling out Drake’s name during his contribution to Big Sean’s Hall Of Fame leftover, Drake divulged in nearly every interview he did following the release of the song that he had no issues with Kendrick, but knew he would never lose to Kendrick in any facet. Despite his responses to the verse seemingly becoming more and more personal with each interview, the issues seemed to fizzle out, especially as Kendrick’s BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher verse seemed to be aimed more towards Papoose than Drizzy.

At Powerhouse 2013 presented by┬áPlay GIG-IT–during which he brought out Lil’ Kim to perform a couple classics–Kendrick Lamar sat down with the Breakfast Club crew and laid to rest any potential beef the public might be trying to piece together. Listen to what he had to say, along with A$AP Rocky, Jay Rock, A$AP Ferg and ScHoolboy Q.

French Montana’s ‘Excuse My French’ Has Been Pushed Back

French Montana has been promoting his debut album ‘Excuse My French’ for sometime now, but now sources have confirmed with Billboard that it is being held back. The album that was originally slated for a July 17th release will now get released in early Fall. This is all in part of French taking part in Drake’s Club Paradise Tour, and the result of this is not enough studio time to record. We will keep you updated on the new release date so stay tuned. You can listen to the single off Excuse My French, ‘Pop That’ here.

Drake Takes Shots At Pusha T During Club Paradise D.C. Stop

Shortly after Lil Wayne’s ‘Goulish’ track, fans are claiming that Drake took shots at Pusha T at his Club Paradise tour in DC on Friday evening. Drake allegedly said “If you were doin’ 16’s when I was 16 and your sh** still flopped and you switched teams don’t talk to me my ni***” while on stage at the Verizon Center.

Tweets from fans saying “Drake just responded to Pusha T in DC” also confirmed the allegations.

Who will win this battle? The G.O.O.D. music veteran or Young Money’s Drake & Wayne?

Drake Talks Upcoming Tracks With Meek Mill & 2 Chainz

Drake gave a heads up on some new upcoming music with 2 Chainz and Meek Mill during a conference call earlier today. He explained the importance of having music collaborations with all the artists joining him on this upcoming leg of The Club Paradise tour. “I guess it’s safe to say anybody I didn’t have a song with before…I have a song with now.“ Drake points out that as we approach the Summer time this is when he wages new music. Maybe we’ll see a project sooner than expected.
