There’s a right way to do this, James. Let Shad explain
Wednesday morning, the internet exploded thanks to this selfie, taken by a woman who calls herself Gvng$ter Boo, of James Harden sleeping in bed next to her. The immediate conclusion drawn was that Harden had slept with this woman the night before, and got “caught slipping”–or “caught sleeping,” if you will–by not falling asleep with his back facing her (or not going home, or politely sending the young lady home, before knocking out).
Today, Bow Wow found time in his busy schedule to school James Harden on how to not get caught sleeping in a lengthy Instagram passage. Chances are, Bow Wow–or Shad Moss, as he’d like to be called–knows a thing or two on how to deal with groupies, considering he’s been a mega-popular heartthrob since he was 13 (that’s 15 years of experience!). So, let’s see if we can get down to the math and science of this thing.
Yo i see yall boys still young rich and DUMB. Now james is my boy but let me say this now. This is how i — — USE to do it its called “leaving no evidence” if you was chilling w me my security takes phones and you signing papers. The rule is when she leaves she gets her phone back. Secondly if u forgot to take phone make sure she sleep then find her phone (usually by side of bed) i would take it put it under the bed so i KNOW im good and could sleep peacefully. Yall be too comfy w/ brauds yall dont know! I give credit to the ladies because most of us are just that rich and STUPID so yall know how to get us. I been caught up too before not knowing being a rookie but next time.. Leave no evidence. Sometimes i would sleep somewhere else leave them all by themselves but id be watching them from my security cam. Fellas be smart we know the p***** is the most powerful thing but dont let it hypnotize you. Ladies when yall do stuff like this, it ruins it for you because we NEVER calling you again. Why mess it up over a proof pic that you twapping a rich dude. Was it worth it? YOOOOOO JAMES WAAAKE UP BRO! zzzzzz…. #feartheblonde ps. This game aint for everybody! I took being a ladies man serious. You got to go all out PROTECT your brand your image.
Thank you, Bow Wow, for this essential, life-changing bit of information. James, please take note. #feartheblonde.
Bow Wow and Omarion were the original pantie(s) droppers, Trey, in case you didn’t know. The teen heartthrob duo was so potent they released a relatively successful duet album, Face Off, in 2007. Since then, they’ve gone their separate ways. Bow Wow, known now as Shad Moss, became the full-time host of 106 & Park while occasionally impacting the mixtape scene, while Omarion bounced around from YMCMB to his current home, MMG, where his new album Sex Playlist, his first LP in 4 years, will be released.
For O’s new single, “Need That Love”, the two vets link back up to try to re-create some of that “Let Me Hold You” magic. Check it out below.

Bow wow, excuse me…Shad Moss
He went from Lil’ Bow Wow to Bow Wow to *clears throat* Shad Moss, and he just dropped a track featuring West Coast upstart, Problem, called “Ya Heard”, produced by Dnyc3 from League Of Stars.
Looking back on his career he’s been acknowledged for plenty of his well-known hits, but he’s older now and doesn’t have a problem fitting in with current trending music. The beat placed on this song sounds a bit Bay Area influenced in fact, and it’s certainly something to ride to in your car. It’s a great start for what we may be looking at–is Shad rapping again? Hmm. Take a listen below.

Iggy Azalea’s debut album, The New Classic, fared better than expected on the Billboard charts, but her newfound success hasn’t placed her quite outside the far-reaching grasp of Tyler, The Creator. Tyler and his band of chaotically organized brothers, Odd Future, hit 106 & Park to talk a little gossip with Bow Wow and his co-host. When it came time to play the infamous “Kiss, Marry, Diss” game, Tyler commented on Iggy Azalea–who was one of the contestants–saying, “she stinks”, visibly leaving the 106 hosts in an incredulous state of shock.
Of course, on Twitter, Tyler and Iggy are going back and forth, and from what we can tell, it doesn’t seem to be a malicious argument, but Tyler’s such a clown, he could hate you and laugh with you at the same time. Check out the exchange below.
Whether you are familiar with him from his amazing story or his honest demeanor, you have to agree that his talent is undeniable. New Orleans native August Alsina has taken off and as a result is on every television screen and radio station on this side of the moon.
Beginning almost two weeks ago, fans saw Alsina on a heavy promo run stopping at infamous radio stations like Power 105.1 and Hot.97, coveted platforms like 106 & Park and a jaw dropping performance for the UNCF Evening of Star’s. The push was apparent, in good taste and very successful because now the sales are in.
Testimony his debut Def Jam backed album predicted a sale of between 50 and 60,000 units for the first week. Exceeding expectations, Alsina’s raved project actually sold 63,522 copies!
Billboard 200 chart position: #2 (only behind the Frozen soundtrack)
Make sure to cop August’s debut project here and send a huge congratulations to August and his team!

August Alsina‘s new album, Testimony, featuring his popular singles, “I Luv This Sh*t”, “Numb” & “Ghetto”, is in stores today, and as part of his press run, August Alsina stopped by the popular BET music video countdown show 106 & Park to promote his new record.
It is now common knowledge that dating back to March, August Alsina & Trey Songz don’t see eye to eye, stemming from issues Alsina had at a performance he invited Trey Songz to, and other apparently off-color comments that the two singers have made about each other. Alsina has been asked about it at just about every interview he’s been invited to, and is understandably through answering such questions. After all, the answers are going to be pretty much the same, if not the exact same.
This idea was magnified on 106 & Park, when Keisha Chante, one of the hosts of the show, asked August Alsina if there would ever be a time when he and Trey Songz would work together again on new music. Alsina was visibly dismayed, and appeared to have his eyes closed for a decent amount of time while Chante asked the question, and opened them to publicly remind her that he specifically asked to not be questioned about Trey Songz during his time on the show. Things got a little awkward, but Bow Wow saved the day.
