As well as he played keep away on that question, the Atlanta native was very candid about the end of his business relationship with Australian star Iggy Azalea. He explains that he attempted to shield her from the backlash she encountered in the past year, but he waved the white flag after her skirmish with Hip-Hop legend Q-Tip on Twitter.

After the Q-Tip thing… After I kind of had smoothed it over, like okay, ‘What is really meant to be said here is…’ After it was cool, everything was cool, and then they kind of came back and undid what I had just [accomplished],” he said. “I’ma be all the way real, I’m a loyal partner. If I rock with you I’m gon’ rock with you…I really do feel that they [Iggy’s team] just needed a little more time to adjust, which I feel they [Iggy’s team] can do. Floyd Mayweather Stands At 49-0 After Bout With Andre Berto; Pacquiao & De La Hoya Express Their Boredom With Fight On Social Media

Going into Saturday night’s welterweight title fight between the undefeated Floyd Mayweather and number one contender Andre Berto, the excitement was a mere blip compared to the monstrosity that was Mayweather-Pacquiao. The champion indicated that this fight, which is the final one on his 6 fight deal with Showtime, would be his final bout in a long illustrious career.

Berto on the other hand, who had lost few of his previous bouts, was a 30-1 underdog based on Vegas oddsmakers. From the opening bell, it was very clear that Berto, though a talented fighter, was in way over his head against the crafty Mayweather. For boxing fans with a bloodlust for brawlers and knockouts, this was not one of their favorites, as for fanatics of the pure science of boxing, this was another impressive and masterful outing by the champ.

Floyd cruised to a very easy victory as he ducked, dodged and tagged Berto with punches, even dancing his way to the corner a on few occasions, as well as speaking to fans in the crowd mid-fight. Some of the highlights of the bout actually came from social media, as former champion Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao took to their accounts and comically weighed in on how bored they are of the fight.

What I do when I’m bored. Hehe

If this is truly Floyd’s final fight, which many are saying it is not, he has had one of most distinguished careers of any athlete on the face of the planet. If he looks for one more fight, it would give him the opportunity to have the best record in boxing history, as he currently stands tied at 49-0 with boxing legend Rocky Marciano. But if he does move ahead with another, who shall the opponent be? Amir Kahn or a rematch with Pacquiao? Only time will tell.

Jason Pierre-Paul Hand Injury Is Worse Than Expected; Might Miss Entire Season

As the New York Giants prepare to begin their season against division rivals the Dallas Cowboys at Jerry World, much of the focus has been on Eli Manning‘s new contract and whether or not Odell Beckham Jr will have another spectacular grab. With that said, many in the Giants camp were optimistic about the return of all-pro defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul who severely damaged his right hand in a fireworks accident on July 4th.

JPP had to have his right index finger amputated but showed up to East Rutherford, NJ earlier this week in peak physical condition (minus his right hand) along with a very positive attitude. Upon further inspection by team doctors, it has been revealed that with the amputated finger, Pierre-Paul also has a fractured thumb, skin grafts and a portion of one of his other fingers missing. This of course has many in the Giants camp very concerned.

The Giants have a franchise tender waiting for a signature from Pierre-Paul, but he has yet to sign it, considering he was hoping for a new contract prior to the accident. Furthermore, if he were to sign the franchise tag contract, he would most likely be placed on the non-football injury list, which would result in him not being paid for the coming season. Pierre-Paul has told the teams front office that he is prepared to play if he is provided with a protective device for his hand, but that remains to be seen.

For time being, the New York Giants are not only concerned about his availability to play but also don’t want to shell out money on a player loaded with question marks.

The true question is, how would he sign the contract with one and a half fingers missing?Rocko Rathon
