Memphis’ Marco Pavé Explains How Hip-Hop Saved His Life To TEDx Audience

Following up his release of single “Black Tux”, Memphis, TN rapper/activist/lecturer Marco Pavé is hard at work promoting his recent TEDx talk. The lecture took place in his hometown of Memphis, where Marc explained exactly how important music is to him and why he would not be here without it. It’s always inspiring when artists within the culture realise just how important it is to add to it positively. Grammy Award winning R&B icons, Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds had much to celebrate during their recent African tour. The co-headliners played four shows in three major South African cities. Following a sold out stadium performance in Harare, Zimbabwe, the tour moved on to Johannesburg, where both Toni Braxton and her musical “soulmate” Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds were presented with double platinum certification . The plaques were in the territory by Universal Music South Africa for their Grammy-winning duets album, Love, Marriage & Divorce.
The plaques awarded to the pair were inscribed with: Double Platinum Award proudly presented to TONI BRAXTON & KENNY “BABYFACE” EDMONDS by Universal Music South Africa for sales in excess of 80,000 units of the “Love Marriage & Divorce” album.
