Her debut album on the label, Broke With Expensive Taste, is set to be released sometime this year, and the official video for the first single, “Yung Rapunxel”, has been released to the internet today. See if you can vibe with Azealia as she takes you on a visual rollercoaster, complete with two mouths rapping where her eyes can be, assault on law enforcement and a cinematic interlude as her dubstep instrumentals and erratic flow usher you along for the next 4 minutes.
Beyonce treated Serbia to a grand show Monday night as she kicked off her world tour in Belgarde, performing a slew of her hits from the Destiny’s Child catalog down to her solo repertoire. It was a thrilling show, complete with multiple dazzling wardrobe changes and a house packed with 20,000 people that probably won’t forget what they did last night. About 14 months ago, Macklemore broke through via The Source Magazine’s Unsigned Hype column. Unlike some of the prior selections, (With the exception of the Biggie’s, Eminem, Mobb Deep and Common’s of the world.) Macklemore and his trusted producer have made great leaps on their success streak. The duo found their way to the stage of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, with some help from Seattle soul singer Ray Dalton.
