Blockbuster Flicks: Must See Summer and Fall Movies

The summer is heating up, in more ways than one.

Aside from the sweltering heat, Hollywood is hot like fire with their highly anticipated summer blockbusters. From hip hop biopics, to drama and thrillers, there’s something for everyone this summer and the rest of the year. Straight Outta Compton – August 14, 2015 – R

Everyone is waiting on the biopic of 1980s gangster rap group, N.W.A., who revolutionized a genre and culture with brutally honest lyrics. The F. Gary Gray directed flick follows the career of the Compton natives as they navigate life and career in a world who’s seen nothing like them before.

Fantastic Four – August 7, 2015 – PG-13

Michael B. Jordan is expanding his talents on the big screen as the Human Torch, in the fantastic/sci-fi adventure flick.

The Perfect Guy – September 11, 2015 – PG-13

Starring eye candy Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut and Michael Ealy, this romantic thriller is one to keep you on the edge of your seats.

Sinister 2 – August 28, 2015 – R
Looking for a spooky horror flick? Look no further. Sinister 2 will have you sleeping with the lights on. The horror film follows a woman and her twin 9-year-old sons who moves into a evil house marked for death with evil spirits. Watch at your own risk.

London Has Fallen – January 22, 2016 – Not Yet Rated

Angela Bassett and Morgan Freeman star in London Has Fallen, the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, but this time the action is set in London. The city ready’s for the Prime Minister’s funeral when Mike Banning, played by Gerard Butler, discovers plans to kill world leaders.

The Last Witch Hunter – October 23 , 2015 – Not Yet Rated

Vin Diesel is in rare form in Lions Gate Entertainment latest fantasy flick, The Last Witch Hunter as Kaulder. When the most powerful witches attempt to take over, Diesel and his team is the last chance for the survival of the human race.
